Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 29, 2026
StoreCheckup is a monthly subscription service. We want our refund policy to be straightforward and fair while reflecting the nature of a continuously operating monitoring service.
1. Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your StoreCheckup subscription at any time.
When you cancel, your subscription will normally remain active until the end of your current paid billing period. Your subscription will then expire and you will not be charged for the following billing period.
Cancellation does not require you to contact us.
2. Refunds for Cancellation
Because StoreCheckup is a continuously provided service, cancelling a subscription does not normally result in a refund for the unused portion of the current billing period.
For example, if you subscribe on the 1st of the month and cancel on the 15th, you will normally retain access to StoreCheckup until the end of that paid billing period, but the remaining days will not automatically be refunded.
This allows us to keep the subscription simple and avoid requiring customers to contact us whenever they decide to stop using the service.
Nothing in this policy limits any refund or cancellation rights that you may have under applicable law.
3. If StoreCheckup Fails to Provide the Service
We work to keep StoreCheckup reliable and available, but technical problems, maintenance, third-party failures, and other events can occasionally affect the service.
If StoreCheckup experiences a significant failure that prevents a subscribed service from being provided as reasonably intended, we may provide a full or proportionate refund for the affected subscription period, depending on the circumstances and the extent of the disruption.
Each such case will be considered individually.
Examples may include a prolonged failure of a core StoreCheckup service or a technical problem that prevents a subscribed CheckUp from operating for a significant portion of the billing period.
Short periods of maintenance, scheduled upgrades, temporary interruptions, isolated failed checks, or individual technical errors will not automatically entitle a customer to a refund.
4. Refunds Are Not Based on Lost Revenue
StoreCheckup is designed to help reduce the risk of lost revenue, but it is not an insurance policy or financial protection product.
A StoreCheckup outage or failure does not create an entitlement to compensation based on the amount of revenue, profit, advertising expenditure, or other business loss that a customer believes resulted from the interruption.
Where a refund is appropriate under this policy, it relates to the StoreCheckup subscription itself, not to the customer’s business losses.
5. Refund Method
Where a refund is approved, it will normally be made using the original payment method.
We will process approved refunds within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law and the requirements of the relevant payment provider.
6. EU and Other Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under the laws of your country.
Where applicable law provides a right to withdraw, cancel, obtain a price reduction, terminate a digital-service contract, or receive a refund, those rights remain unaffected by this policy.
